“We have taken membership in the consortium by paying Rs 7 lakh. The US meet would discuss ways to standardise various technical issues to prepare the Internet-friendly fonts,” Mr Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Minister for Information Technology, said.

We have seen that many of us want to type in Hindi but we are unable to do so.Now it become very easy for us all that we are now officially having the Unicode for the Telugu and Hindi. By using the Unicode feature you can type, view the above languages in any website, application or text fields any where as you like.
